Since I’ve moved to DC, I’ve been wanting to try Luke’s Lobster. I tried their lobster roll, because it is what they are most famous for. Maybe it’s just me, or the shop I visited was having an off day, but…meh.
Granted, that’s a very generous pile of fresh lobster meat on a warm brioche bun. However, I was hoping to taste a little more butter and maybe it’s because of my Asian palate, but I wanted some garlic. The lobster meat was calling for garlic. I tried to add some sriracha to add some heat, but I still feel like the roll was missing sumthin’.
I did reach my protein quota for that day though…and for the next three days.
